Authorizenet Credit Card Processing Authorizenet has begun to discontinue its Weblink method in early 2003. 2 replacement methods are available - Advanced Integration Method (AIM) and Simple Integration Method (SIM). New routines are available for CyberCart to make use of SIM - integration for AIM is currently not available. In order to use SIM, merchant will need to do a number of things, including obtaining a transaction key from Authorizenet. In addition, earlier versions of (7.2 and below) of CyberCart will need to be modified in order to use SIM. Please contact support@cybercart.com if you need your copies of the scripts modified. Once the modifications have been made to the cybercart.pl and ccmerchant.pl scripts, the merchant will need to do the following things: 1. Login to their Authorizenet Merchant control panel. 2. Select Settings. 3. Under Security, click on Obtain Transaction Key. 4. In order to generate the transaction key, the merchant will need to supply the Secret Answer to their secret question. If they don't know what their secret answer is, they'll need to contact Authorizenet to obtain it. 5. When they supply the correct Secret Answer, Authorizenet will generate a new transaction key. Carefully copy this down and this is case sensitive. 6. Merchant then needs to login to their CyberCart Administration screen. 7. Click on Edit Main Configuration. 8. Click on the checkbox Enable Authorizenet SIM. 9. Click of the Enable Authorizenet (this is for the old Weblink method). 10. Type in the Transaction Key generated. 11. Click on Submit Changes to save the changes. This will enable Authorizenet SIM method.
